As professional counselors, a major issue for us is how do we get our
services to the masses and how are we paid for services. Our hearts are to
make our services available to everyone regardless of ability to pay.
That is not possible without outside funding. In this down economy,
families are hurting because of ability to pay. For many of them, when
the choice comes as to what to do with the paycheck..., rent, food,
medicines, etc always takes precedence over counseling.
The "MAC" (Mobile Assist Center) is a concept whose time is long overdue.
MAC would serve as a mobile office working with local churches. MAC
would schedule time on the church campus with competent counselors to see
pre-arranged clients. Clients would be accepted on a basis of need.
We are seeking funding for the vehicle and to pay counselors for these
