Our mission: To provide a
Christ-centered, faith-based, secure environment for women
seeking the opportunity and empowerment to change.

"
I found myself divorced after 25 years of an abusive
marriage, 4 children, and a questionable future. As a new Christian, I
prayed for a place where I could go that would be safe and I could heal.
I prayed for a place of refuge. I had been abused physically and
emotionally. I was a victim of substance abuse. I was depressed.
I was suicidal. It was then that I determined that, with God's help,
someday there would be such a place."
In 1999, now a woman in transition herself, Judith, as
a single woman, purchased a large residence at the corner of Fountain Street
and Gilbert Road in Mesa Arizona and began accepting women from prison, off
the street, divorcees, and generally any woman willing to commit to a life
of empowerment in Christ. That home expanded to 7 bedrooms with 6
baths, a small dorm for temporary reside
nts.
As things happen, Ron came into Judith's life and priorities changed and the
home was sold as a group home. Then, now with the vision of Judith's
House still burning in her, the home almost miraculously came back onto the
market. As Ron and Judith prepared to make a bid on the home to
restore this ministry, the home burned making the residence out of reach
financially.
And that is where we are today. Judith has the experience and the
ability to reestablish Judith's House. The good news of the real
estate market is that these large older homes in Mesa are more affordable
than ever.
Perhaps you are one of those individuals who have a heart to help women get
on with life. You can make a difference. Call Dr. Judith
and let her know that you want to be a part of the new Judith's House.
Dream her dream with her and let us make this project happen in 2011.
