Casa La Paz means House of Peace in English.   It is a long time dream of Ron and Dr. Judith that began back in their dating days.   It was to have a place of retreat where couples could come who need critical immediate help with their marriages.   It must be a first class residence where persons of any stature could feel comfortable and receptive,  possibly in the north desert of Scottsdale or Cave Creek area.  ...All this seems impractical and impossible until recently as the housing crisis has spread and many of these wonderful homes are on the market for 1/3 of their former value when this concept was dreamed.  What has been a nightmare for many has become the dream of a few. One would not know this but Ron and Dr Judith now have a few couples who come each year to spend some quality time tuning up their relationships.  It is a concept that works.

Hebrews 12.14 says, "Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."  And yet, some of our worst behavior is in our own homes or toward the one chosen to be our partner.  Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a house of peace? It is a concept whose time has come.
